Privacy policy

Last updated 10 October 2026

This explains what we collect when you use sieeq, why, and your rights. The shop is run by [to be added], a limited liability company registered in [to be added], at [to be added] ("we"). We are the data controller. Contact: [to be added].

We sell worldwide, so the data protection law where you live may also apply, including the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. You can contact us about your data directly, or through our representatives: in the UK, [to be added]; in the EU, [to be added].

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, email, phone number, delivery address, any delivery note, what you bought and what you paid.
  • When you track an order: the order number and email you type in, to look the order up.
  • Shop statistics: we count page visits, product views and items added to bags. These counts are not linked to you: we don't store your IP address, name or any identifier with them.
  • Payments: we contact you by email to arrange payment. We never ask for card details on this site.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

  • To deliver your order and contact you about it (contract). Your phone number is passed to the courier only if they need to reach you.
  • To keep records of sales for tax and accounting (legal obligation).
  • To understand which products people like using the anonymous counts above (legitimate interests).

We don't send marketing emails, sell your data, or use advertising trackers.

Cookies and storage on your device

We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. Your browser stores a few things so the shop works: your bag, your light/dark theme choice, your delivery region, and the products you recently viewed (shown back to you on the site). A temporary marker stops one visit being counted twice and is deleted when you close the tab. You can clear all of this in your browser settings at any time.

Who we share it with

  • Hosting and database providers that run the site and store orders on our behalf, in the United States.
  • Couriers and customs authorities, with what they need to deliver your parcel and clear it through customs in your country.

We are based in the United States, so your information is processed and stored there. Where your country's law requires it, we protect it with the approved safeguards for international transfers (such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, or standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 6 years, as tax law requires, then deleted. Anonymous shop statistics may be kept longer.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email [to be added]; we'll reply within one month, wherever you live. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your local data protection authority: in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk); in the EU, the authority in your country.
